by Edward Pitcher, Leader of Technology
I am delighted to announce that Swiss Cottage School, Research and Development Centre have been recognised in the Edtech50 Schools report. The Edtech 50 Schools is a celebration of the work going on in schools that use education technology to support great teaching and learning across the UK and Northern Ireland.
Education technology plays a key role in the learning of each pupil at Swiss Cottage School. With a particular lens on a holistic approach for all, our teams across the school show incredible passion to make sure outcomes are met for all pupils and that technology is in place to enhance these experiences.
Technology is supporting a wide range of learning opportunities such as independence, communication and sensory learning.
We are looking forward to continuing our work and partnerships to shape opportunities across the education sector and provide an inclusive pedagogy for all.
“The impact of technology across the school, and for wider stakeholders, is channelled via the centre’s online learning journal. This allows pupil progress to be tracked over time.”
